  • Hero?

Who is my hero? That’s a bit of a predominant question, isn’t it? The real question should be who isn’t a hero. Everyone, at some point or another, is a hero. Even someone as simple as your neighbor can be a hero. Why is it that everyone’s hero has to be some superstar or the top-rated music artist of the week? Does everyone really look up to these people? What about people with real values? Shouldn’t they be the ones everyone looks up to? At least for me, that is the type of person my hero is, a real person with qualities I can truly strive for in my life.

My hero is someone many people don’t know, but should. His name is Brett Clarke, and he is a hero to me for many reasons. He’s not the type of person that could be a hero to everyone, he’s a special kind of hero, one that few people can fully appreciate. He may not be a fire fighter or superhero, or anything, but he is a wonderful person inside and out.

First of all, he brings out the inner child in everyone. Face it, who’s hero is really a stuffy person that sits around crunching numbers all day for a living? He doesn’t discriminate against adults that like to have fun, in fact, he encourages it. It’s his living, and he wants to encourage others to have the happiness that he feels every day. Just because the target age range of the particular stage show that he’s in is 2-6 doesn’t mean that it’s the only age range that he is going to acknowledge. When he says he wants to see everyone up on their feet and dancing, he means he wants to see everyone up on their feet and dancing, singing, and having fun, including the adults. As much as people may think there is a huge difference between acting like an adult and acting like a child, there isn’t. The only difference is that adults refrain from having fun and try to hard to conform to what they think to be socially acceptable, and kids just do whatever they feel like doing, without worrying about what is considered ‘right’. How many adults can honestly say they wouldn’t absolutely love to be able to let loose and dance their heart out whenever they felt like it, without worrying about feeling silly. There’s a child living within every that is just bursting to come out and play!

  • I think my sub-concious mind knows more than I do......

Okay, where to start... Well, I had a rather strange dream... (yes, even more strange than my usual dreams)

It wasn't the most clear dream, but I do remember cirtain parts of it...  I remember that somehow I was pregnant, and I was the age I am now (17) so it's not like the future or anything, I didn't even know about it, but my mom did! It was strage! I came outside onto the deck and complained to my mom that my stomach was hurting, and she just said in a normal tone, "oh yeah.. You're pregnant". Then I remember being a bit freaked out and stuff. Then a bit later in the dream, I was really quite happy, and would just stand there holding my stomach and stuff.. It was all rather strange!! I don't know where this came from! I have never been pregnant before, never thought about being pregnant, or anything! It was just so random and out of nowhere!! Very confused on this all!!
